Rotato Line

Rotato Line is Aporkalypse's (APK's) primary tram line that extends in the four cardinal directions from Spawn: north, east, west, and south. The north-south (formerly east-west) line has traditionally been the primary artery and takes the traveler south to Parthenon and a U-Turn, both of which are in the vicinity of New Hamsterdam, or north to Big Floaty and communities around Pleasure Dome and Rotato Outpost. The east-west (formerly north-south) line is lesser known and very little of it contains an active rail system. Westward it extends roughly along y=14,z=-67, grazing Second Continent and terminating in the Porkton area, while eastward it extends to Meatball Station and serves as relatively safe access to Stavrostralia.

Rotato Junction has been the traditional nucleus of the Rotato Line network. It was located in a cavernous room near Spawn near (157,22,69). In May 2011, due to a major remodeling of Spawn, Rotato Junction was fully decommissioned and replaced with a simplified station close to Spawn itself. The new station places less emphasis on the Rotato Line and more on the newer major lines that lie outside the Spawn area.

Even with the new changes, much of the overworld rail system is rarely used due to the implementation of the high-speed Nether Hub Network in June 2011. Whereas in early 2011 Rotato Station was often quite busy, today the station is very rarely visited and its whereabouts under APK Spawn can be somewhat obscure to the average traveler.
